Abraham Cambridge
CEO at SunExchange (South Africa)
A deep solar industry executive that has a long history in the solar energy sector, Abe has founded the Sun-Exchange to bridge the funding gap for nano-grids in the African continent and beyond. They have achieved this through developing a peer-to-peer micro-finance platform on the block-chain. By lowering the cost of capital and increasing transparency in solar asset performance, their crowd-funding platform allows individuals and companies to to invest in distributed solar energy projects around the world alongside local stakeholders investing as little as $10. They started off in Africa where there’s plenty of sunshine and an ever increasing demand for electricity.
