Risk Management speakers at Blockchain Conference in Abu Dhabi to reveal ways of addressing risks in the cryptocurrency market

In the world of Blockchain, most experts talk about the ICO and crowdfunding but usually skirt contentious issues on high risks that are specific to an ICO process.

The organizers of the B Conference , which will take place in Abu Dhabi on December 7, 2017, have selected professionals from different parts of the world. Our speaker Alexander Larsen, President of Baldwin Global Risk Services Ltd., will tell in detail about the risks that may occur during the ICO and ways of their management.

Our speaker holds a degree in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University and is a Certified Fellow of the institute of Risk Management. He has 15 years of experience within risk management across a wide range of sectors, including oil & gas, construction, utilities, finance and the public sector, and has considerable expertise in training and working with organizations to develop, enhance and embed their Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Project Risk Management (PRM) processes in countries such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Qatar.

Alexander spent the first half of his career in the UK working in senior risk consultancy roles in the UK with Marsh and Zurich before leaving to join Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates with responsibility of developing their risk management services for the energy sector in Middle East & Asia. Since leaving DNV he has worked in the Middle East in a variety of roles. Prior to working with Lukoil, as Risk Manager for major projects and operations in Iraq, Alexander was at Saudi Aramco developing their ERM framework and also spent a few years developing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) within Qatar Foundation.

The next keynote speaker of the Blockchain Conference in Abu Dhabi to be held on December 7, 2017 will be Yoram Golandsky, Сhief Executive Officer CISO/CIRO, security Professional Services leader. Having over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and risk management, our speaker will talk about how to apply his experience in the blockchain technology and how it all works in practice.

A seasoned executive and veteran entrepreneur with proven experience in technology, management, and sales. A Technology senior executive with nearly 25 years of proven experience in the security field, twenty of them in the Cyber Security and Risk Management domains. In recent years Yoram is also involved with Blockchain and Smart Contract technologies, Yoram is a member and an individual contributor to the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, and on the advisory board of Wowllet an Ethereum application development startup. Named to the National Law Journal’s inaugural list of Trailblazers in Cybersecurity and Data Protection for 2015. Mentor at the Barclays Accelerator Powered by Techstars in Tel Aviv – March 2016. Member of the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.

Yoram will deliver the following report: The difference between DLT and Blockchain.
